End Environmental Racism: A Climate Emergency Town Hall

A gathering in Bushnell Park with speakers, spoken word poetry and music, to hear from the communities most harmed by the twin evils of climate disruption and social injustice. By expanding the use of fossil fuels, the state of Connecticut is failing its most vulnerable residents, exposing them to increased fossil fuel pollution and a worsening climate crisis.

Location: Bushnell Park (corner of Asylum Street and Union Street), Hartford.

Hosts: Sierra Club CT, NAACP Windham/Willimantic Branch, Unidad Latina en Acción, Connecticut Climate Crisis Mobilization (C3M), No More Dirty Power in Killingly, and Quiet Corner Shouts.
